Premiership Rugby has today concluded a new five-year international TV rights agreement which substantially increases revenues for Aviva Premiership Rugby and the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series.
Following the recent signing of the six-year TV renewal for the UK & Ireland with BT Sport, Premiership Rugby has signed an agreement with RDA TV and Altice group for all markets outside UK & Ireland and USA, from 2016-17 season onwards.
Altice group will broadcast Premiership Rugby on its MCS television networks (Ma Chaine Sport) in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland sub-Saharan Africa, while RDA TV will distribute to broadcasters globally. Altice group is exclusively advised by media rights consultant Nick Haigh.
The new contract is an important step forward for Premiership Rugby, not only delivering a worldwide presence Aviva Premiership Rugby and the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series but it represents a significant uplift in revenue for its clubs.

The rights are currently with Pitch International through to the end of the 2015-16 season and Hayes added: "We have worked very successfully with Pitch International for the last nine years and would like to place on record our thanks to them in helping grow Aviva Premiership Rugby."
